My husband and I had always despaired at ever getting together some sort of emergency kit in case of disaster. When we saw what 'Prepare Yourself Australia' was offering in the way of a 72 hour emergency kit...and for such a reasonable price, we snapped up a 'couples' kit which is now stored in the cupboard beside our tent, all ready to grab at any given notice. Recently Queensland (where we live) had a series of very bad storms and one major cyclone, which left many homeless or operating without facilities that many of us take for granted. We were glad to know that if our home was destroyed, we at least had the necessities to survive the time needed to get ourselves to safety. This has given my husband and I much peace of mind .In fact we were so delighted with the emergency kit that we immediately ordered a second 'couples' kit for our son and daughter-in-law and our nephew, who was unaware that such a company existed until we informed him, recently ordered one for his family as well.

We were impressed to see what actually came in the kit and in the way it had been packed and compartmentalized into each group of necessities (ie. the medical supplies were in separate zip plastic bags, as were the toiletries and food etc) which means that there's no searching through the kit for small important items that might have got lost in the bottom of the bag. Also, after purchasing, we moved interstate, yet, two years later we still get our regular 6 monthly calls (or emails) from the company, reminding us to replace the batteries for the radio, torch etc and to re-purchase certain food items etc... We have also been impressed to see that, periodically, new survival products are being offered which can be purchased individually and sent to us here in Queensland, from Perth. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the degree of professionalism and standard of product and service offered by the company and would recommend them and their products to anyone.

Saving time and stress and hard work. It has been tried and tested and is adaptable to all ages and circumstances; i.e. it can be packed in backpacks, holdalls or shopping trolleys. Because he can bulk buy he can put it into everyone’s price range. He now has planned the meals and packed them individually – Great! The time is now, who knows what’s around the corner. We have ours. All ready to go!

I highly recommend the purchasing of a 72-hour emergency pack. Having one on hand has given me peace of mind in knowing that, if it was needed, I am prepared. Having one available to purchase was also a great help to me, along with the free 6 monthly reminders and update kits that are also available for purchase.

It is so easy in a busy life to put things aside, even important things, like having a 72-hour pack. Having the reminders & update kits available is a great assistance to me in keeping the products current so that the pack is always ready for use if needed in case of an emergency.

We think the three day survival kits are the most comprehensive in the marketplace containing all the necessary items that may be needed to survive. The food items supplied are good and nutritious and contain sufficient kilojoules to survive. We particularly like the idea of each days food ration in individual packs and titled and the reminder system means we do not have to worry about when the food expires if it hasn't been used.
We found the service first class and money well spent and have peace of mind that we are fully prepared if an emergency should occur. Highly recommended.
